Drew Evan Fenton, M.D.,

Director of Medical Therapeutics for Western United States.
Dr. Fenton was born in Latrobe,
PA. After obtaining a B.S. in Biology at Penn State University, he earned
his M.D. Degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Dr.
Fenton then served in the U.S. Military, completing his internship in
Internal Medicine at Letterman Army Medical Center on the Presidio of
San Francisco, and then completing a two year overseas tour of duty
in Germany, acting as the Medical Director of a troop medical clinic.
He then completed a three year residency in Emergency Medicine at Los
Angeles County – University of Southern California Medical Center.
Dr .Fenton has been practicing medicine
since 1982, and has a diverse experience, including, but not limited
to Stem Cell Biotherapy, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care Medicine, Hospitalist
Medicine, Laser Medicine and Surgery, Facial Aesthetic Medicine, Family
Practice Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and served, after his residency,
first as part-time Academic faculty, and later as full – time
Academic Faculty in the Emergency Medicine Residency training program
at Los Angeles County – University of Southern California Medical
Center, where, as well as training resident doctors, he served as the
Director of Didactics, (organizing lecturers and lecturing himself,
) and focused his energies on the legal aspects of medicine.
Dr. Fenton is a founder, former
national pro-tem Board of Director member, former elected Board of Director
member, former elected Secretary- Treasurer, and former national Presidential
candidate of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Additionally
he is a co-founder, former President pro - tem, and former Past President
of the California Chapter of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Fenton’s bibliography
includes being first author of eMedicine/WEBMD’s Acute Myocardial
Infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Perirectal Abscess,
as well as several layperson web site chapters. He is the creator, editor,
and major contributor of Common Sense, the official newsletter of the
American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He also authored the due process
policy statement of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Fenton is fluent in English,
German, and has significant skills in medical Spanish.
